Thesis: “Pactos de la vida y el arte: La metaficción en el cine, teatro y cuento españoles de la transición tardía” (“Pacts between Life and Art: Metafiction in Spanish Film, Theater, and Short Fiction during the Late Transition”). *Fall 2001-Spring 2003. Graduate Fellow. Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut. Acquisition of films, coordination of speakers, and management of the budget for the Latin American and Iberian Film Series, a weekly, annual event. Faculty Advisor for the Spanish Club, assisting students in planning and budgeting cultural activities. Host of the weekly Spanish Table. Taught weekly cultural component of Intensive Elementary Spanish I (Spanish 101) using video and web-base materials. Taught an Intensive Elementary Spanish class (Spanish 102). Taught an Independent Study on Advanced Composition and Conversation (Spanish 399). Supervised an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant (Spanish 466). Organized cultural presentations with the students for the Annual Departmental Solstice Party and for the Annual Poetry Reading.
